Dear Focusrite,

I know this will be non-sense for most of the people who will read it. But I’m pretty annoyed at Focusrite. They’re a great audio company, mostly known for their excellent pre-amps.
Now I am looking to buy a new audio interface since my old M-Audio Fast Track Ultra 8r died quite disappointingly without being much used. Oh well. So the new Scarlett series looked pretty interesting and from what I read on line they’re very good and reasonable priced. Nice. The 18i6 has got a good number of analogue inputs, 2 preamps and possibility to expand it via adat input. Nice. The 8i6 has a very nice function called Loopback to record audio internally from any software source. Very useful. Now, the 18i6 doesn’t. Why on earth. It’s the more expensive, more inputs, etc. Why on earth not put the loopback function on it?
Disdain.
